Agenda Title:

Authorize the Mayor and Finance Officer to Sign a Waiver of Right to Protest with Century Resources, Inc. for a future assessment of the installation of pavement, curb, gutter, water main and street light conduit in East Philadelphia Street as is abuts an unplatted balance of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 32 in T2N, R8E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota.

Summary:

The waiver of right to protest (WORP) is associated with a Preliminary Subdivision Plan application (City File #14PL068) to plat 8 mixed use lots, commercial and medium density residential. Staff has approved an exception request (City File #14EX211) not to construct pavement, curb, gutter, water main and street light conduit in East Philadelphia Street adjacent to the plat at this time, contingent upon the property owner signing a WORP for the improvements.
